Los Buzos is located on Panama’s Pacific coast Azuero Peninsula and is a model for Panama’s new sustainable tourism plan. Los Buzos is primarily a fishing resort in Panama but also offers a wide variety of other activities, including horseback riding , hiking, surfing , whale watching, mountain bike trails and more for adventurous travelers.
Los Buzos lies on the beach just 4 km beyond the community of Cambutal, at the southernmost point of Panama.
Types of Fish to Catch at Los Buzos
Los Buzos Panama is positioned in the center of Marlin Alley, a 200-mile stretch of pristine ocean stretching from Hannibal Bank eastward to Pinas Bay.
Many IGFA world records have been set in the area Marlin Alley area for Black & Blue Marlin, Pacific Sailfish, Wahoo, Grouper, Cubera, Mahi and Roosterfish. Los Buzos alone boasts 7 of these records include the current World Records release records for both Roosterfish and Cubera Snapper. Los Buzos was a pioneer in Panama teaching sustainable catch, photo, and release techniques in an area that was nearly all catch and kill. This transition in mindset is one of the reasons our fishery remains so great year to year.

Your fishing package includes:
- 5 full days of guided fishing for 6 hours or more with launch time based on the tide
- Meals: daily breakfast, packed lunch, snacks and dinner (served daily while at Los Buzos)
- Beverages: unlimited national beer, gatorade, tea and water complimentary at lodge. Cash Bar for mixed drinks and sodas.
- Transport: private van transfers from Panama City to Los Buzos and back. Sunday morning pickup (10am) and Saturday morning return to the city.
- Wifi: unlimited wifi available at our lodge
We can also do identical type packages for Trail riding, surfing, hiking and mixed activity groups as well as shorter stay packages and simple vacation rentals without activities.

Getting to Panama
Panama City Tocumen International Airport is the largest airport in Central America where more than 20 airlines offer 2,500 weekly flights to Europe, north and south America.
The airport is located 15 minutes’ drive from Panama City and is also connected by the new Panama Metro system. There is an excellent choice of hotels in Panama City and some fantastic tourist spots such as the Panama Canal, Casco Viejo and Viejo Panama.
