ROBERT FIELD AND FIELD TRIPS AT LOS BUZOS
Whether from our Lodge, our family-friendly rental homes, or our unique Cala Pacifica Retreat Center, Los Buzos offers kayak and panga fishing vacations, world-class surfing, and whale watching on the water. Back on land, our Parque Los Buzos offers horseback riding, hiking, and a variety of nature tours in this amazing private wildlife preserve. Los Buzos is guaranteed to provide an adventure holiday of a lifetime.
We offer week long (Sunday morning pick-up – Saturday morning return) all-inclusive fishing packages at our lodge here in Panama.
Kayak Fishing
We fish every day for 6 hours or more with launch time based on the tide. Kayak: Hobie Outback Mirage Drive Kayak, Jackson Kayak Coosa FD or Knarr, Lightning Strike Kayak.
Sport Fishing
We fish every day for 6 – 8 hours. Boat fishing gear and tackle for live baiting, dead bait and lure trolling and starter kits for jigging and popping trips (additional jigs and poppers sold on site). Kayak fishing gear not included.
Fly Fishing
We fish every day for 6 hours or more. Fish from our custom panga skiffs. 2 anglers per panga. Spliced leaders. Tippets.One popper fly and 2 saltwater starter kits.
Fish/Surf Combo
Steps from our lodge and well known among the surf community is 411, one of the most consistent rights anywhere. 411 and its sister breaks Indicator and Dinosaurs were home to the 2009 Reef Classic, an ASP World Tour qualifying event. Filling the easily accessible lineup for most are Cambutal Beach and with a short 4WD trip down the road Corto Circuito, a very popular rock bottom break known for its nice tubes and long rides.
Panama Peaks and Shores
We invite you to immerse yourself in this culture by riding through rolling hillsides overlooking the Pacific Ocean, remote streams and rivers, or along miles and miles of incredible beaches and backroads to the outskirts of the Cerro Hoya National Park, one of the least visited National Parks in all of Panama.

Advanced Kayak Fishing Trips
Robert will be putting together groups of 8 experienced kayak anglers to chase Pacific giants and shorten their bucket lists. Offshore kayak fishing experience is not necessarily required, but these anglers need to know how to fish from a kayak. Robert can then focus on helping you understand the fishery, the techniques and the areas so you can fully capitalize on 5 days of kayak fishing in some of the most epic fishing grounds on Earth.
Offshore Kayak Fishing University
Robert will be putting together groups of 8 people who want to learn how to kayak fishing offshore. No experience is required! Robert will teach you everything you need to know: how to operate a kayak efficiently and stay upright while fighting big fish, all of the different lures and techniques we use, how to use your depth finder and GPS to find more fish and much more. And of course, you’ll catch some epic fish along the way! After 5 days of fishing, you will go home able to take what you learned and feel confident fishing offshore anywhere in the world!
Run n’ Gun Panga Trips
February and March bring about one of our favorite times of year: BIG yellowfin tuna season! Robert will be putting together groups of 6 anglers for 5 days of epic fishing out of our fleet of super pangas. We will spend the morning chasing down massive pods of dolphins and throwing topwater poppers for the huge yellowfin tuna that hunt alongside them. These will be the most insane topwater explosions of your life! Then we can switch gears and fish artificials and live baits for all of the other epic species that call our waters home.
